About the client

Care, protection, and a path to loving homes.

Humane Society Yukon is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that provides care, protection, and a path to loving homes for cats and dogs from communities across the territory.

Project overview

Helping people find what matters.

Humane Society Yukon is a deeply valued part of the Yukon community, caring for animals in need and helping families find their next companion.

As demand for animal care has grown across the territory, rising costs, housing pressures, limited shelter capacity, and increased foster and adoption needs have added pressure to the organization’s work. In that context, Humane Society Yukon needed a website that could help community members quickly find the right next step.

Before the redesign, the organization had heard from the public that its website was difficult to navigate. Visitors looking to adopt, foster, volunteer, attend an event, donate, become a member, or learn about fundraising involvement needed a simpler path.

The website needed to turn a large amount of important information into simple, visible pathways.
The assignment

From scattered information to a clear next step.

The project was not just a visual refresh. It required a stronger content structure, clearer calls to action, and a platform the organization could confidently manage after launch.

01 · The challenge

Important information was available, but not always easy to locate.

People arrived with different goals and different levels of urgency. The experience needed to help them orient themselves quickly without adding more friction.

02 · The response

Organize the website around the actions people most often need to take.

Bizont rebuilt the experience around adoption, fostering, volunteering, events, donations, membership, and practical animal-care information.
