What do you focus on in your role at Bizont?

As a Marketing Analyst at Bizont, my main focus is creating marketing content and analyzing its performance, especially for our Canadian audience. I work to ensure our messaging resonates by tailoring campaigns, optimizing for engagement, and always keeping an eye on the latest trends and data to guide our strategy.

What’s a part of your job that people might not realize you handle?

In addition to creating content and analyzing results, a key part of my job is always keeping up with industry trends and exploring new tools that can optimize our marketing. I spend time researching emerging platforms, analytics applications, and technology solutions that help us better understand our audience and improve the efficiency of our campaigns.

What’s one project or initiative at Bizont you’ve really enjoyed working on and why?

My favorite project at Bizont has been participating in changing the company’s website. Although I am not a programmer, I had the opportunity, with the help of my coworkers, to learn the basics of making adjustments and changes to the site. I love it because I’m always looking to learn something new and this project allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, collaborate with the team and bring a fresh perspective to the website.

What’s one task you’d love to automate (at work or in life)?

If I could automate one thing, it would definitely be the process of tracking and reporting on campaign analytics. While I enjoy diving into the data, setting up automated dashboards would free up more time for creative work and strategic planning.

If you weren’t doing this job, what’s a totally different career you could see yourself in?

If I wasn’t working in marketing, I could very well see myself as a travel writer or photographer. In fact, that passion for discovering new cultures and places was the main reason why I left my country, Mexico, and moved to Madrid three years ago.

I love exploring the world and sharing those experiences, something I also enjoy connecting with different audiences through marketing.

What do you focus on in your role at Bizont?

I focus on Finance and HR. Basically, I’m a mix between a financial fortune teller and the team’s fairy godmother. I do financial forecasting (no crystal ball needed), generate invoices, follow up on project budgets, and manage the team — from vacation tracking to handling company resources. If money is moving or someone’s planning time off… I’m already on it.

What’s a part of your job that people might not realize you handle?

I manage payroll and track the team’s hours, assigning them to the right projects. It’s a weekly puzzle that requires precision, follow-up, and sometimes telepathy to figure out who did what and when. Everything runs smoothly… as long as everyone logs their hours.

What’s one project or initiative at Bizont you’ve really enjoyed working on and why?

Financial forecasting, hands down! I genuinely enjoy managing the company’s money and figuring out what we can and can’t do. It’s kind of like playing Monopoly — but with real stakes (and thankfully, no family fights).

What’s one task you’d love to automate (at work or in life)?

Invoicing! I dream of a magical “Bill Everything” button. As much as I love money, the process of collecting it? Not so much.

If you weren’t doing this job, what’s a totally different career you could see yourself in?

Dancer! I’d swap budgets for pirouettes, reports for stages, and Excel sheets for sparkles.
